Kilkenny RFC hosted a Leinster Summer Camp from July 27th to July 31st, 2009. The camps were aimed at budding rugby stars aged from six to twelve years of age.
Leinster players Sean O'Brien and Trevor Hogan visited the camp on Tuesday morning to offer support and encouragement.
Coaching staff included Noel Ferguson, Tony Alatini, Nicky Murphy Dearan McGrath, Mick McGrath and Eoin Kerin and Alan O'Carolan.
As Kilkenny was one of the smaller camps the children get plenty of personal attention and fun and games from qualified and experienced coaches.
The camps are a fun way of getting introduced to rugby in a fun environment. A week's camp offers the equivalent of 6 months training in normal season and are open to both boys and girls. It is not necessary to have played rugby previously.
